Jonathan and Dawn Barnes are Common Global Ministries missionaries in relationship with the New York Conference of the United Church of Christ. The relationship, initiated by the Commission on the Global Church, began in 2007. Prior to that the Barnes helped to plan and facilitate a visit by a group of people from the Conference to South Africa.
The Barnes work with the Kei Regional Council of the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa. Both are ordained ministers of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
